Deaf Education Evolving with Implants

This article describes the impact of cochlear implants on teaching methods for kids who have hearing loss.  Like the Omaha Hearing School, the article provides a good description of the Clarke School for Hearing and Speech, an oral preschool.  While teaching methods are not one-size-fits-all, when children have access to sound at a very young age, an Oral approach maximizes that opportunity for listening and spoken language learning.
