Fourth of July always means flashbacks to when Lily was just three weeks old. We sat on the deck, while these incredible "BOOMS" went off around us. She had no reaction. We just sat there and knew something was wrong.
Flash forward four years. We sat on the deck and Lily didn't stop talking. In just a few minutes, we heard...
"Now everyone in the whole wide world can see the fireworks."
"I'm a cricket."
"Are fireworks power?"
"I'm a little scared but it's fun. I'm coming over there so I won't be scared."
"Wow! There's a purple one over there."
"What is that light coming across?"
"I want milk, but Dad is not going to get me any because he didn't hear me."
"There's another colorful one."
"Can you read this part to me."
"What a great day. I'm squealing for joy."
"Let's pretend we're at Kim's house and I'm a little girl."
"Did you hear another one go 'eeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhh'."
great pictures!! My favorite was Saturday "I'm so tall on my Dad's shoulders! I do this at night time and when we get upstairs, I tell my Mom that I'm a totem pole". Language, glorious language!
