In the video below, Lily reflects on her trip to Arizona to attend the AGBell conference. Love that Advanced Bionics's mascots Melody and Buddy, as well as Chris Barton the music therapist and author of TuneUps rank right up there at the top of her experiences. I think she meant to thank AB, instead of AGBell, for her CIs.
Lily also talks about how great it was to swim, but the real thrill was for us to be able to talk with her in the pool because of her waterproof Neptune CIs. The language, the safety, the fun games...what a difference!
I just wanted to thank you for posting the updates with AB. My son is only five years old. He just got implanted in the right ear July 19,2012. He is was going to get implanted for the left ear Friday November 02, 2012. I will call the Dr. and cancel the surgery. I want to wait for the new one coming out. He uses his hearing aid on the left ear.

You should talk with your surgeon, audiologist and AB to discuss what products you would delay implanting your son for. Are you thinking about the new electrode? It could be another year. Good luck on your decision. How is he doing with his first implant. Does he have a lot of residual hearing on his left?
